Bantams

Bantams are minature chickens, most breeds of chickens have a bantam version, although some bantams have know larger version, these are knowing as 'true bantams' they include breeds like the pekin and the sebright. Bantams make very good broody hens and nice pets.

Black Pekin

These are not very good layers, but they do make good broodys, prehaps not kept for their laying standerds, but for there unusual look instead. They lay about 3 eggs per week.
